The True Church & Ongoing Restoration

What does it truly means to be a part of the true Church? It’s not about having perfect leadership or a flawless organization; it’s about having access to the fullness of the Gospel.

The Framework of the True Church

What sets the true Church apart is its authorization through priesthood keys and the establishment of a framework through covenants and ordinances. This framework provides us with the means to walk the covenant path back to the presence of God. It’s a journey of progress, step by step, day by day, through repentance and faith, as we learn to live by higher laws and gain personal revelation.

Restoration of the Gospel

At the heart of the matter is the restoration of the Gospel, which, when properly applied, seeks to provide us with the tools necessary to tap into the ability to receive light and truth directly from the Lord. This personal revelation, the ability to walk with God, and enter the presence of the Father today are what define the true Church.

Everything established in the fullness of this dispensation, and every other dispensation, is intended to enable God’s children to receive light directly from Him. You are His child, His son, or His daughter, and you deserve to qualify to receive that light and truth directly. You don’t have to borrow it from someone else, not from the scriptures, not from the prophet, and not from anyone else. The goal is to learn how to receive that light and truth directly for yourself.

The Ongoing Restoration

It’s important to understand that the restoration is not a one-time event. It’s an ongoing process that will continue until the Lord’s return. As we seek to bring the blessings of the temple, which include personal revelation and coming into the presence of God, to God’s faithful children more effectively, the Lord will reveal more insights to us. The ongoing restoration requires ongoing revelation, not just for the Church but for our individual lives as well.

Our Individual Restoration

Perhaps the most significant restoration we should be focusing on is our individual restoration to the presence of God. This happens through a personal relationship with Christ and the Father. It’s a process, not an event, and it will continue until we come into the Lord’s presence. The Church, or the kingdom of God, exists to provide us with the ordinances and covenants that bind us to God. As we come to understand the temple, ordinances, and covenants more effectively, the Lord will reveal more insights to us individually.

In a nutshell, the fullness of restoration is about our individual journey towards the presence of God. It’s a process that requires ongoing revelation. The true Church is not perfect in the sense of having perfect leadership or a flawless organization. It’s about having the means to connect personally with the Divine and receive light and truth directly from Him.

As we reflect on these insights, it’s a reminder that our spiritual journey is a lifelong quest filled with personal revelations and an ongoing restoration process. It’s an invitation to experience the fullness of the Gospel, to walk the covenant path, and to connect with the Divine in a profound way.

The true Church is all about the pursuit of personal revelation and a direct connection with the Divine. That is the fullness of restoration.
